Power is not binary. Flexibility changes the site.
We are turning load flexibility into a comparable signal that can sit next to megawatts, price, fiber, delivery date, and location in the site-selection process.
The thesis
Flexible load can be infrastructure.
Large-load interconnection has usually treated demand as a fixed number: a site needs 100 MW, so the grid must be able to serve 100 MW at all times. That assumption is increasingly expensive and slow.
A training cluster, batch workload, battery-backed campus, or geographically distributed compute fleet may be able to reduce, pause, or shift demand during constrained hours. That flexibility can change the capacity problem.
Inspired by Vish Tella's work on pricing grid flexibility in Texas, Huluku's goal is to make flexibility useful in the transaction itself: capture it when a requirement or site enters the marketplace, score it consistently, and use it when matching demand to power.

What goes into it
Curtailment
How much load can come down without breaking the workload.
Response
How quickly the facility can respond to a grid or economic signal.
Duration
How long a reduction can be sustained before the workload must recover.
Shiftability
How much compute can move in time or to another geography.
On-site support
Storage, backup, or dispatchable generation that changes the site's grid dependency.

The useful version of Flex Score is not a standalone calculator. It lives on every demand requirement and every site profile, then influences matching, pricing, diligence, and which power paths we pursue first.
